Kirkuk: Woman sets herself on fire due to poverty.

On Monday (April 8, 2013) 24-year-old (Zarifa Saeed) committed suicide by setting herself ablaze and died immediately in Wasit neighborhood of Kirkuk, which is located on a land rich in oil. 

In a statement to Warvin, a source from (Adala) police station said that the initial investigations show that she committed suicide due to poverty. 

“The woman did not have any source of income, her husband is a worker at municipality who was employed on petrodollar budget, he has not received salary for three months. They did not have any thing at home, so the woman decided to set herself ablaze to escape from her life." the source added.
