Amed, Kurdistan - Turkish police HQ destroyed, many Turks killed.
On March the 24th, units of the Kurdish resistance attacked a Turkish police headquarter in Lice, occupied Amed province and left the Turks with many dead and wounded soldiers and police.
The Turks claim 3 soldiers died, the Kurds claim much higher.

More attacks on Turkish army positions inside Kurdish territory are expected this spring as the Turkish forces refuse to withdraw from Kurdish cities. The Kurds, lead by the Kurdistan Workers Party(PKK), vowed to retaliate to the massacres of unarmed Kurdish civilians in recent months by the Turkish army.
