13 Turkish soldiers killed during Guerilla operations in Gever, Wan
The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) said that Guerilla Forces carried out operations against the Turkish occupation army in Gever Wan district, in which 12 Turkish soldiers were killed. Moreover, another operation launched by YJA/STAR fighters in Wan state, and that resulted in killing a soldier.

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement, in which it disclosed the outcomes of the operations carried out by their forces in Colemêrg, Wan, Dêrsim, and Arzenjan, and the statement included:

“Within the martyrs Pîroz and Agirî campaign, HPG carried out special operations against the Turkish occupation army in June 28-30 in several areas in Gever district.

In June 28 at 19:40, Guerilla Forces carried out an offensive operation against a security checkpoint of the Turkish occupation army near Shervan village and major outpost of the enemy’s army that works to protect the checkpoint. The Guerilla dealt the enemy’s sites and the security checkpoint harsh blows, and the operation led to killing five soldiers and wounding three of them, as well as a military vehicle was wrecked. The next day, the Turkish occupation army’s forces launched a military attack against the area, and on the same day, the occupation army withdrew from the area without achieving any outcome.

In June 30, in the period between 08:30 and 13:00, the Guerilla Forces carried out sniper operations against the Turkish occupation army who is stationed on Babe hill, and the operation led to killing two soldiers.

In June 29, the Guerilla Forces carried out another operation against the Turkish occupation army who is stationed on Jafar crossing hill. After the operation, the Turkish occupation army launched a military attack against Kheiz crossing area.

In June 30 at 15:00, the Guerilla carried out an operation against a secret unit of the Turkish occupation army while it was launching a military campaign, and the operation resulted in killing five soldiers and wounding other three. After the operation, the Turkish occupation army’s aircrafts of Scorsi kind started to transfer their killed and wounded soldiers from the area.

A Turkish soldier was killed in Wan during YJA/STAR operation

Within al-Naser (victory) campaign of Guerilla Forces in Wan state, and in June 29 at 15:40, YJA/STAR fighters carried out a sniper operation against the enemy’s forces who are stationed on the hill that overlooks Golzerk police station in Abakh district in Wan district, and the operation led to killing a soldier.
