A Kurdish mother of four has been stabbed to death in her home in UK’s Fenton, police said. 

Avan Najmadeen, 32, was found dead last Monday after she failed to pick up her children from school. She is believed to be from the Kurdistan Region. 

The local police said that three men, a 33-year-old and another 35-year-old man from Wigan, as well as a 33-year-old man from Liverpool, were detained in relation to the murder case. 

Officials are now conducting a forensic investigation, Kurdistan 24 reported. 

“Avan had lived in Glebedale Road with her four children and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her or knows her movements over the weekend of 28-30 September, before she was found on Monday afternoon,” Detective Inspector Victoria Downing said on Friday.
