Today, September 13th, marks the anniversary of the killing of female pro-life #women_life_freedom leader #Zhina_Amini by the religious morality police of the clerical regime in Iran.
We neither forgive nor forget
The murder of young Zina by the criminals of Khamenei shook Iran, and the world suddenly witnessed a popular uprising against the Islamic Republic. The Tehran regime’s fear of the unity of the people even crossed borders.
The Revolutionary Guard Corps, as always, attacked refugee camps in the Kurdistan Region with a blatant crime; where innocents, fighters, and those who had escaped massacre and repression were once again targeted.
In those days, more than ever, I tried to echo the voice of the protests; both what was happening on the streets of Iran and what happened to pregnant mothers and school children across the border in Iraqi Kurdistan.
But, but our struggle never stopped. In Europe, I also continue to document and clearly narrate the crimes of the Islamic Republic.
From the moment of the earthquake of Zina's murder to the day when the Sakharov Prize was awarded to the "#Zhen_Zhian_Azadi" movement, this long journey is rooted in a long struggle against tyranny. For the truth, for justice and freedom... until the fall of the Islamic Republic.
