The brutal treatment of two elderly mothers by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s officers — condemned.
A conscript brutally attacks and beats an elderly mother
A shocking video released by Halash shows the brutal behavior of a government officer; the officer kicks the chest of an elderly mother who is lying on the ground, beats her and insults her with obscenities. The incident took place at the Milk border crossing in Hirmand County.
According to reports, several other soldiers were present at the scene but did not intervene. This image is just a small example of the culture of impunity and structural violence: a government that is not responsible and accountable for the murder of children, the rape of imprisoned teenagers and other crimes has naturally normalized its officers to commit such acts.
We condemn this behavior and ask:
Who is going to be held accountable?
What authority will investigate this open violence against the elderly?
How many more reports need to be published for the world and human rights institutions to take action?
Shame on a system that kicks the chests of mothers and children instead of justice!
Soldier accused of beating an elderly woman at the Milk border was arrested
HRANA News Agency – Today, at the Milk border terminal in Hirmand County, a conscript soldier kicked and insulted an elderly woman. In this regard, the Hirmand County Governor’s Public Relations Office issued a statement announcing the arrest of the offending soldier and his direct commander.
A soldier’s apology video; a new show by the regime to deceive public opinion
After the release of the video of the beating of two Baluch women at the Milk border, instead of responding, the government agencies tried to quell the anger of the people by publishing a theatrical apology from the offending soldier.
But this staging is not a sign of regret, but a scenario to exonerate the forces of repression;
A repeated show of a regime that always seeks to wipe the blood from its boots instead of justice.
In a culture where guns rule over conscience,
soldiers, guards, and police are no longer the protectors of the people—
but have become the guardians of a totalitarian dictatorship.
Those who should be the guardians of security are today the guardians of crime and fear.
From the Milk border to the plains of Balochistan, from Kurdish kulbars to Baloch fuel workers,
the bullet is the answer to poverty and silence is the reward for obedience.
And whenever the people's blood boils, the government tries to show its bloody face in the mirror of public opinion with an "apology show."
But the people are not fooled.
They know that the root of violence is in the system, not in the soldier standing in front of the camera.
As long as weapons are in the hands of power and not in the service of justice,
as long as innocent blood is shed on the ground and there is no response,
no show can erase the stain of shame from the face of oppression.
Balochistan wants justice — not false apologies.
