Iraq completes construction of the separation wall between itself and occupied and divided Syria.
The wall includes thermal cameras and night vision capabilities, as well as an earthen berm.
Countries that have built walls along their borders with Syria:
- Turkey: A 911-kilometer wall
- Iraq: A 605-kilometer wall
- Israel: A 92-kilometer wall
- Jordan: Barbed wire and land barriers, funded by the United States.
Of Syria's neighbors, only Lebanon has not built a security wall to protect itself from the barbarians of our time.
Iraqi forces, including border police, federal police, and Popular Mobilization Forces, are present.
