This attack is the latest in a series of attempts by malicious actors to destabilize Iraq and target U.S. investments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. We stand ready to support efforts to protect this vital infrastructure and will continue to emphasize the importance of Iraq upholding its sovereignty against attempts to undermine it, and ensuring that all weapons, especially drones, missiles, and rockets, remain under state control.

تدين الولايات المتحدة بشدة الهجوم الإرهابي الذي استهدف حقل غاز كورمور في السليمانية. وننضم إلى حكومة إقليم كردستان والشركاء العراقيين الآخرين في دعوة الحكومة العراقية إلى اتخاذ إجراءات فورية لمحاسبة مرتكبي هذا الهجوم الإرهابي، وهو الأحدث في سلسلة من المحاولات التي تقوم بها جهات خبيثة لزعزعة استقرار العراق واستهداف الاستثمارات الأميركية في إقليم كردستان العراق. نحن مستعدون لتقديم الدعم للجهود المبذولة لحماية هذه البُنى التحتية الحيوية، وسنواصل التأكيد على أهمية تمسك العراق بسيادته في مواجهة المحاولات الرامية إلى تقويضها، وضمان أن تكون جميع الأسلحة، وخاصة الطائرات المسيّرة والصواريخ والقذائف، تحت سيطرة الدولة.
