In fact,#Reza_Pahlavi is #another_Khomeini, but in a suit, not a turban.
The trap of division this time in Reza Pahlavi's gang is against the Kurds.
Reza Pahlavi invites Mustafa Hijri Abdullah Mohtadi to dialogue, but they are not included in the list published by Barzani's cunning wall-breakers, the Kurdistan Freedom Life Party, the Kurdistan Struggle Organization of Iran led by Mr. Baba Sheikh Hosseini and Mr. Ebrahim Alizadeh's Kamala Party.
And this is through Kurdish mercenaries who work with Reza Pahlavi and have a slave mentality. They have organized this dialogue and in essence this is a trap of division between the Kurdish forces. This is not a dialogue, but a trap
Secret diplomatic initiatives in Europe: plans for Iran's political future after the conflict! 🤔 cooperation with a fake person like Reza Pahlavi is unhealthy'
According to information circulating in the Norwegian media, a meeting is planned in Sweden where Reza Pahlavi is expected to have a prominent role. At the same time, reports have been published about a possible meeting in Brussels where Mustafa Hijri, Abdullah Mohtadi and Reza Pahlavi will participate - with Pahlavi as the central actor. Although this information is not yet fully confirmed, it points to intense diplomatic activity around Iran's opposition.
A French investigative magazine, La Lettre, published a report on March 20, 2026 that sheds light on extensive diplomatic contacts behind the scenes. The focus is on European institutions' attempts to coordinate the Iranian opposition and prepare scenarios for a political transition in Iran after a possible conflict.
▪️Europe steps into the process
According to the report, diplomatic actors in France, the Netherlands and Spain are cooperating to take on a mediating role between the international community and a future reformed Iranian state. The initiatives are described as part of a broader strategy for a political transition, with Europe acting as a coordinator while some Gulf states are providing support.
Israel is said to be following developments with interest and is looking positively at any initiative that could weaken the current Iranian regime. Turkey is also mentioned as an actor with parallel diplomatic ambitions, in some competition with European initiatives.
▪️The Brussels plan: seven actors at the same table
A central feature of the report is a planned meeting in Brussels, organized by the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee. According to the information, the meeting could take place between 14 and 16 April 2026 and bring together representatives from seven central parts of the Iranian opposition.
▪️Among those invited are:
Mustafa Hijri (Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, PDKI)
Abdullah Mohtadi (Komala)
Saeed Bashirtash (“Aban Seven”)
Navid Shomali (Tudeh Party)
Reza Pahlavi
Shirin Ebadi (Nobel Peace Prize 2003)
Representatives of civil society organizations
The initiative is led by MEPs Hannah Neumann (Germany) and Loucas Fourlas (Cyprus).
▪️Reza Pahlavi’s crucial role
One of the biggest challenges for the meeting is Reza Pahlavi’s position. According to the report, he has not yet accepted to participate on equal terms with other opposition actors, preferring a role as leader of a transitional process. His strong network within the European EPP group is highlighted as an important factor.
The report also refers to opinion polls that present him as a possible alternative for Iran's future, but these are at the same time questioned as being influenced by his own supporters. It is also mentioned that he has some support from digital communication channels linked to Israeli interests.
▪️A key figure behind the scenes
A central figure in the process is the Franco-Iranian activist Maneli Mirkhan, who, according to La Lettre, plays an important role in organizing contacts between opposition groups. She has connections to networks working against Iran's nuclear energy program and runs the organization Dorna, which is described as a strategic platform for Iran's future.
The report states that details of the financing of her activities have been shared confidentially with the French Foreign Ministry, which suggests a certain coordination with French authorities.
▪️Parallel initiatives in Paris
At the same time, similar initiatives are underway in France, led by MP Aïda Hadizadeh. She is working to unite the opposition within the framework of the French National Assembly. Here too, the same problem arises: how to integrate Reza Pahlavi into a common structure.
In the event of a failure in Brussels, there are plans to hold a similar meeting in Paris, with the support of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet.
▪️MEK is marginalized
One of the most notable conclusions of the report is that the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) organization is increasingly excluded from these processes. Despite its previous influence in both Brussels and Paris, the organization's role now seems to be declining, as illustrated by canceled media appearances and missed invitations.
▪️A complex and uncertain process
The report from La Lettre paints a picture of a Europe that is no longer simply observing developments in Iran, but is actively trying to shape a future political transition. At the same time, there are several significant obstacles:
-Reza Pahlavi's unwillingness to participate on equal terms
-Strong influence from American and Israeli interests
Deep divisions within the Iranian opposition
Kurdish opposition included primarily from a democratization perspective, rather than based on national rights
In summary, the report shows that the process is both complex and sensitive, with different actors with different interests trying to agree on a common vision for Iran's future.
