The Lithuanian border guard intercepted a large group of illegal migrants.
27 illegal migrants were detained in the forest near the border.
Most of them had no documents: 25 said they were Somali citizens, and two said they were from Turkey and Pakistan. 24 Somalis were refused entry and sent back to Belarus.
1,390 attempted crossings from Belarus stopped so far this year.
