Kidnapping in Iran—particularly the abduction of women—is a cause for concern.

🔸 #Mahboubeh_Namrodi,_Samiyeh’s sister, reported her sister’s disappearance while traveling from Bandar Abbas to the village of Kenarju. She stated that her sister’s car had been driven off the main road and into a wooded area where it was set ablaze, yet no trace of Samiyeh was found inside the vehicle.

🔸 Mahboubeh Namrodi explained: "My sister Samiyeh is originally from the village of Kenarju in Sirik County but resides in Bandar Abbas, where she worked in the real estate sector."

🔸 She added: "Samiyeh would regularly visit her hometown on weekends to see family. On the 10th of Mehr [October 2], around 7:00 PM, she set out from her home in Bandar Abbas for Kenarju village in her white Pars car."

🔸 Samiyeh’s sister continued: "The drive from Bandar Abbas to Kenarju village usually takes about two hours; however, when that time had passed, the family realized Samiyeh still hadn't arrived. We tried calling her, but she didn't answer, which caused the family to worry."

🔸 Namrodi said: "Around 11:00 PM, Samiyeh sent a message to the family saying, 'I’m close to home; I’ll be there soon.' About 15 minutes later, she sent another message saying, 'I’ll be late; I have some business to attend to.'"

🔸 She stated: "After that message, we had no further news of Samiyeh until the middle of the night—around 3:00 AM—when the family was informed that a car had caught fire near Kenarju village."

🔸 Samiyeh’s sister added: "Upon arriving at the scene, the family discovered that the burning car belonged to Samiyeh." The vehicle had veered off the main road, come to a stop behind some trees, and subsequently caught fire.

🔸 Namardi continued: After the fire was extinguished, it was discovered that Samieh was not inside the vehicle; despite searching the surrounding area, no trace of her was found.

🔸 He stated: Given the vehicle's location and the condition in which it was found, the family is convinced the fire was deliberately set, which has heightened their anxiety regarding Samieh's fate.

🔸 Samieh's sister emphasized: Since Samieh was not in the car and there has been no news of her so far, the family suspects she may have been abducted; however, the matter is currently under investigation, and we are awaiting the results of the police inquiry.

Namardi has asked the public to come forward with any leads or information. 👇

There is no security in Iran; women are abducted, robberies occur, and sometimes women are even killed. Mugging of a female university student:
The Deputy Police Commander of North Khorasan Province announced the arrest of a suspect accused of mugging a female university student and stealing her mobile phone.
Brigadier General Mohammad Gholami stated that following the incident, law enforcement officers prioritized the case; through intelligence and police operations, the suspect was identified and subsequently arrested.
Emphasizing the importance of heeding preventive advice, he urged citizens to remain vigilant regarding their surroundings and suspicious individuals or behaviors while moving through public areas—especially on quiet or deserted routes.
🔸 Citizens should avoid becoming oblivious to their surroundings while using mobile phones in public spaces; if they feel they are being followed or harassed, they should head to a crowded, safe location and immediately report the matter to the police emergency service (110).
