According to a report received by the Human Rights Organization Hengaw, Doniya Hosseini, 37, from Khuzestan and resident of Tehran, is still in indefinite detention despite the passage of 12 days since her arrest.
On Monday, June 16, 2025, Doniya Hosseini was arrested by security forces at her home in Tehran and then announced her transfer to Evin Prison in a phone call. After the arrest, the officers also sealed the citizen's home.
According to a source close to Hosseini's family, he has not had any contact with his family since the Israeli army attacked Evin Prison on July 21 and the massive transfer of prisoners to other prisons in Tehran province.
It is worth noting that Donya Hosseini, alias "Donya Azad", was previously arrested by security forces on August 11, 1402, and some of her electronic devices and manuscripts were confiscated.
