#Violation of #Iranian #civil #rights  by the #Iranian_Islamic #regime and trampling on basic human rights SIAM, the Unified Subscriber Inquiry System, was built to collect almost all possible information that can be obtained through users’ mobile communications from various operators.

🔸#SIAM’s #API, by connecting to the operators’ databases, allows security agencies to examine users’ locations, conversations, messages, and digital connections at any moment in time.

🔸SIAM doesn’t just capture data; it also controls the network and can downgrade phone connections to #2G to make monitoring and eavesdropping easier.

🔸SIAM is part of the government’s eavesdropping infrastructure; a gateway to the internal cloud network that controls our communications from the SIM card level to the messenger.

🔖This system, due to its wide coverage and real-time tracking capabilities, is one of the most dangerous components of the digital surveillance architecture in Iran.

Recently, the calls that are made are often made using the same 2G network and do not go to new networks.
