Emphasizing the need to confront "social anomalies" and "nudity," the head of Iran's Judiciary instructed the Prosecutor General to pursue this matter with "firmness" and within the framework of the law.

Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei stated that certain "social anomalies"—and what he termed "licentiousness and nudity"—have distressed "devout people" and "patriotic citizens" and could pave the way for corruption.

In this regard, he ordered the Prosecutor General—acting as the representative of the public interest—to pursue measures against these issues in cooperation with law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and government bodies.

The Judiciary chief stated that this action must be undertaken with the aim of "safeguarding the rights of the people" and "combating manifestations of corruption."

At the same time, Mohseni-Ejei noted that the implementation of these measures requires "prudence, wisdom, and planning," and that any action contrary to Sharia or the law must be avoided.

He added: "What is essential is putting an end to this state of anomaly and nudity—but doing so with prudence and wisdom."

The Judiciary chief also stated that the President and the Parliament concur with this approach and that one should not be intimidated by "clamor and uproar."

In recent weeks, voices within the Islamic Republic have argued that showing flexibility regarding the lack of hijab is inappropriate—even in "wartime" conditions—and that harsh enforcement measures should once again be placed on the agenda.

In addition to Friday prayer leaders, a senior parliamentary official has called upon the Supreme National Security Council to place the implementation of the suspended "Chastity and Hijab" law on its agenda. Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel—father-in-law of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic and a member of the Expediency Discernment Council—stated in September 2026 that, due to "wartime conditions," the Islamic Republic cannot currently take the desired or necessary measures to strictly enforce mandatory hijab regulations.

These remarks come as Iran’s currency market faces a fresh surge, with the dollar crossing the 240,000-toman mark on the open market.

The rise in exchange rates has driven up the costs of imported goods, raw materials, rent, transportation, and small business operations, thereby increasing the financial strain on households.

The fact that judicial and government officials are focusing on cracking down on women's attire amidst a currency crisis and inflation has raised questions regarding the priorities of decision-making bodies.

ئاماژەی بەوەشکردووە، ئەوەی پێویستە کۆتایی بەم گێژاوەی نائارامی و ڕووتییە بهێنرێت، بەڵام بە پلان و تەکتیک.

سەرۆکی دەسەڵاتی دادوەری هەروەها ڕایگەیاندووە، سەرۆک و پەرلەمان هاوڕان لەگەڵ ئەم ڕێبازە و نابێت مرۆڤ لە "ڕابڵ و ژاوەژاو" بترسێت.

لە چەند حەوتووی ڕابردوودا دەنگگەلێک لە کۆماری ئیسلامیدا بەرزکراونەتەوە کە نەرمی و نەرمی بەرامبەر بە پەردەپۆش نەکردن تەنانەت لە هەلومەرجی جەنگیشدا دروست نییە و پێویستە جارێکی دیکە ڕێوشوێنی توند بخرێتە بەرنامەی کارەوە.

بەرزبوونەوەی نرخی ئاڵوگۆڕ، تێچووی کاڵای هاوردەکراو، کەرەستەی خاو، کرێ، گواستنەوە، و چالاکییەکانی بازرگانی بچووکی زیاد کردووە، ئەمەش فشاری سەر بژێوی ماڵان زیاد دەکات.

تەرکیزکردنی هاوکاتی دەسەڵاتدارانی دادوەری و حکومەت لەسەر چڕکردنەوەی بەرەنگاربوونەوەی پەردەپۆشکردنی ژنان، هاوکات لەگەڵ قەیرانی دراو و هەڵاوسان، پرسیاری لەبارەی ئەولەویەتەکانی دامەزراوە بڕیاردەرەکانەوە دروستکردووە.
