Tehran – Azerbaijan Online – A young man reported to the Tehran police, claiming that about a year ago, during an argument with his wife regarding immigration, he pushed her; her head struck a wall, resulting in her death. The accused also stated that he buried his wife's body in a well in the courtyard of a villa.
According to Azerbaijan Online, a young man turned himself in to the Tehran police and confessed to his wife's death, an incident he claimed occurred approximately a year ago.
In his statement, the man claimed that tensions between him and his wife had escalated after she won the visa lottery and decided to immigrate to the United States.
According to the accused, during an argument at a villa in the north of the country, he pushed his wife, causing her head to hit a wall—an incident that, by his account, led to her death.
The accused further stated that following the incident, he placed his wife's body in a well in the villa's courtyard and covered it with cement.
The man turned himself in after about a year, and judicial and police investigations are currently underway to verify the confession, locate the site in question, and recover the body.
Pending the completion of the investigation and official statements from judicial authorities, the details of the case are based solely on the accused's statements.
