UK: Kurds block Westminster over Kobane inaction.

Kurdish activists blocked traffic on Parliament Square on Wednesday to protest against the actions of the Islamic State (formerly ISIS). They also highlighted the UK's perceived lack of support for the people of Kurdistan.

The protesters demanded that the besieged people of Ayn al-Arab (Kobane in Kurdish) be given the arms with which to defend themselves. The road outside Parliament was closed for several hours, causing massive traffic jams in the surrounding area.
