The General Command of Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) has released a statement providing information regarding ongoing clashes with ISIS gangs.

YBŞ Command stated that ISIS groups attempted to attack the village of Mediban from three sides in the evening of March 31, which was immediately retaliated by YBŞ combatants. ISIS gangs were inflicted heavy blows and 6 members of theirs were killed during heavy clashes that lasted around an hour. 3 other members of ISIS, 2 of whom are 'emir's, were wounded.

YBŞ fighters also seized 2 Hammer type armored vehicles and destroyed a bomb-laden vehicle belonging to ISIS.

The statement said that one YBŞ combatant by the name of Rojhat Ali who had suffered a critical injury in Mediban village during the 'Operation Vengeance for Martyrs of Shilo', has lost his life in hospital on March 29.
