As the IRGC resumed its missile and drone strikes against the territory of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Baghdad announced that Tehran had given a 10-day deadline to "disarm Iranian Kurdish armed parties" to the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan region.

Mohammad Kazim Al-Sadiq, the ambassador of the Ibrahim Raisi government in Iraq, said on Monday, 30th of Abban, referring to the visit of Ismail qaani, the commander of the Quds Force, to Iraq last week, that in negotiations with the Iraqi side, he called on the Iraqi government to set a "timetable" for implementing the issue of disarmament of the opponents of the Islamic Republic.

In an interview with Al-Alam, Arabic TV of the Islamic Republic, as well as with the Iraqi network Al-Ahed, he added that Iraq accepted two Iranian requests to disarm the opposition and return them to the camps as "refugees", but asked for a deadline to disarm.

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic did not say exactly when the 10-day deadline began, and the Iraqi government did not react to this.

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq also referred to Iran's other request to Iraq in connection with the Kurdish opposition parties of the Islamic Republic, whose forces and their families reside in the Kurdistan region, but spoke in a way without explanation, which apparently was not accepted by Iraq.

The Islamic Republic seems to insist on handing over Iranian Kurdish activists living in the Kurdistan region who are"being pursued" in Iran.

The IRGC has confirmed that it has been targeting 30 Kurdish territory since the morning of missile and drone attacks.

According to the statement of the Corps, the goals of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in kuisanjak in Erbil and the headquarters of the Komla party in Sulaymaniyah province were targeted by drones. The Iranian ambassador denied reports of the IRGC's imminent ground attack on Iraqi soil.

The army's attacks on Iraqi Kurdistan have been suspended after a seven-week hiatus. In the previous round of attacks, at least 19 people were killed and dozens were injured.
