Fierce clashes in south and east Kobanê

As ISIS gangs are continuing to attack the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan with all their forces, and the YPG forces are bravely resisting attacks for weeks now, fighting has intensified on the eastern and southern fronts in the evening, on the 25th day of the historic resistance.

According to the reports provided by ANHA (Hawar News Agency) correspondents on the ground, fierce fighting is continuing in many areas as YPG forces are repulsing the concentrated attacks gangs have been launching with reinforcements and heavy weapons for the last three days.
Clashes between YPG forces and ISIS got heavier in the south and east Friday evening as gangs have launched a new wave of attacks with an aim to enter the town.
In the meantime, ISIS gangs have attempted a suicide attack with a bomb-laden car in the east today afternoon but were prevented by YPG fighters who were not late to intervene and detonate the car.
On the other hand, a civilian was murdered by the gangs in the village of Til Şe'îr to the west of the town today afternoon.
In a statement about the current situation in the besieged town, YPG Press Centre has reported today that the ISIS gangs are now carrying out bombardments on the Kobanê centre, using the cannon and missile launchers they have recently deployed around the town, after facing a failure in their attempts to enter the town centre.
PYD Co-President Asya Abdullah, who is in Kobanê taking part in the resistance against ISIS gangs, has said they need an ‘aid corridor’ in order to maintain the resistance, calling on international forces to take notice of this demand.
