Habib Asiod was executed

On October 9, 2020, he was kidnapped by Islamic Republic agents in Turkey and secretly transferred to Iran.

Asyved is one of the leaders of the group "Harakat al-Nidal" or "Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz".

The security officers tortured him to admit that the members of his group were involved in terrorist operations in Iran. Three years before Asioud's kidnapping, the former leader of Harakah al-Nidal, Ahmad Nisei, was shot dead on July 7, 2017, in The Hague, Netherlands.

His family members were also arrested in Iran.

Radio of the Islamic Republic broadcast Habib Asiod's forced confession a few days after his abduction.

Some time later, at least 22 relatives of this political prisoner were arrested by the security forces in Shushtar and taken to unknown locations.

In 2022, an indictment was issued against Habit Assoud and after the trial, this Arab political prisoner was sentenced to death in court without the right to access a lawyer.

On March 12, 2023, the Mizan news agency reported that after the appeal, the country's highest court upheld the death sentence and deemed it final.

Two Kurdish citizens named Abdullah Khan Mohammadi and Salahuddin Majidi were executed today in the central prison in Selma city.
