he United States and Britain on Friday morning fired missiles at a number of Yemeni Houthi military bases in the capital Sanaa, the port of Haidariyah and other places.

A US Defense Department official told news agencies that a number of Houthi positions were targeted with air strikes and Tomahawk missiles early Friday in response to Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.

The US official said they had dealt a heavy blow to the Houthis, targeting several weapons and ammunition depots and drones.

Meanwhile, the US Air Force said 60 attacks were carried out late last night and this morning.
