The torture of  Kurdish colber  by the forces of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan at the Horaman border.

This behavior is against the custom and standards of Kurdistan.

Yesterday, Saturday, January 20, 2024, 8 young Kolbars from the city of Javanroud reported in a published video that Iraqi border guards arrested them at the border of Biareh (Halabja Province). They were then severely mistreated and harassed both psychologically and physically before being left at the zero point of the border.


According to the Kolbars, the Iraqi Border Guard Forces, which replaced the Kurdish Region Border Guard Forces under a new agreement, not only shaved the heads of these individuals, but also deprived them of water and food during their one-day detention.


In addition, Iraqi border guards confiscated the cell phones of these Kolbars, identified by the first names Mobin, Payam, Sarkawt, Shorsh, Arash, Sadraldin, Jamal and Yusuf.

In a video released today, Saturday, January 20, 2024, eight young Kolbars from Javanroud reported that Iraqi border guards apprehended them at the Biareh border (Halabja province). Subsequently, they were subjected to severe beatings and both psychological and physical harassment before being abandoned at the border zero point. According to the Kolbars, the Iraqi border guard forces, who have taken over from the border protection forces of the Kurdistan Region under a new agreement, not only shaved the heads of these individuals but also deprived them of water and food throughout their one-day detention. Additionally, the Iraqi border guards confiscated the mobile phones of these Kolbars, identified by their first names as Mobin, Payam, Sarkawt, Shorsh, Arash, Sadraldin, Jamal, and Yusuf.
