Kurdish YPG: 86 Islamic-jihadists killed in Serêkaniyê
Serêkaniyê: Islamic-jihadists from the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) that carried out massacre in the Serêkaniyê region of West (Syrian) Kurdistan have suffered a heavy defeat in clashes with Kurdish People's Defense Units (YPG) for the last two days. YPG fighters strongly responded to the attacks of al-Qaeda linked ISIS Islamists that attempted to occupy the villages of Rawiya, Tel Xenzir, Tel Bilal and El Ferise in west Serêkaniyê on 28 May., using tanks and heavy weapons they brought from Tal Abyad and Rakka. Clashes which erupted on Wednesday evening lasted till late Thursday evening. The second wave of ISIS attacks targeted the villages of Tileliye, Al Qoncak and Timad in south and west Serêkaniyê on 28 May night. The YPG General Command remarked that 86 gang members have been killed in clashes in the last two days, including many emir (leaders) and citizens of Turkey and other countries. The General Command added that 16 fighters of the YPG forces have lost their life resisting against gangs, and called on youths to join YPG ranks to fight against the attacks of gang groups...firatnews.com
11-month baby massacred within its mother's arms
Serêkaniyê: Islamic-jihadists groups attached to the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham ISIS have assaulted a number of villages near Serêkaniyê, where they carried out a series of massacres early this morning. According to preliminary information at least twenty people were killed, including women and at least seven children. According to information sent from Serêkaniyê, ISIS gangs attacked the vıllages of Tileliye, Temade, Ovencake and neighboring hamlets, where they killed everyone they found. Early images from the villages show large numbers of bodies. One images shows the bodies of one women and four children. One child had its internal organs removed. Also, an 11-month baby was massacred by the gangs within its mother's arms. Smoke continues to rise from the villages, with images emerging of local residents fleeing from their homes. One of the villagers still in shock from the massacres is seen kneeling up again a wall with his head between his hands.
