Kurdish YPG together Assyrian forces MFS are in heavy fighting against ISIS around Khabour River. Many kidnapped Christians have been liberated from ISIS and several villages freed, but heavy clashes are ongoing as ISIS is heading towards the city of Tel Tamer which is a mixed city of Assyrians, Kurds and Arabs. ISIS has already burned a church in the area.
