An Israeli ship was attacked near the port of Fujairah in the UAE

Al-Mayadin news network and Israeli media reported on Tuesday (April 15th) that an Israeli ship was attacked near the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

According to these reports, the mentioned ship is owned by the Israeli company "Pacisi".

It is not clear which group or country carried out the attack, but Israeli state television quoted Iranian officials as pointing the finger at Iran.

Israeli Channel 12 said there were no casualties in the attack.

In recent months, there have been numerous reports of Iranian-Israeli counterattacks on each other's ships.

Israeli media and Al-Arabiya reported on the evening of April 6 that unknown individuals had "attacked" a Revolutionary Guards ship in the Red Sea off the coast of Yemen. Iran confirmed the attack but did not take the damage seriously.

On April 25, it was announced that Iran had carried out a "rocket attack" on an Israeli cargo ship in the Arabian Sea, but Israeli media reported that the ship was able to continue its journey to India.

One month earlier, a cargo ship belonging to an Israeli billionaire was targeted near the Sea of ​​Oman and returned to its destination after two days of repairs in Dubai. Iran's name was also mentioned in that attack.

In connection with Tuesday's attack, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that Israeli security officials had recently expressed concern over a series of reports linking attacks on Iranian targets to Israel.

The paper added that some analysts suspect that a number of Israeli politicians are seeking to escalate tensions with Iran for personal gain, and that some security agencies are competing with each other for prestige.
