According to the German Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the poisonous substance ricin is on the list of war weapons under the title "biological weapons". Ricin is a very toxic substance that even a small amount of it, as small as a few grains of table salt, can kill an adult. This very dangerous poison is prepared from the castor plant.


The toxic effect of ricin is ten times higher than that of cyanide.


It is said that there is no specific antidote for it. Cyanide is also very toxic, even the smallest amount is fatal to humans.


The German police has accused the detained Iranian suspect of preparing a serious and dangerous act of violence against the government.


"Westdeutsche Rundfunk Klan" WDR has announced the arrest of two people in its report. According to this report, the arrested persons are two brothers and they did not show any resistance during the arrest.


The documents obtained are being reviewed and evaluated. Currently, the Nordrhein-Westfalen Central Office of Terrorism Prosecution, a unit of the Dusseldorf Public Prosecutor's Office, is responsible for handling the case, and it is not yet clear whether the arrested suspect will be brought to court or not.

A large number of police forces, fire brigade and rescue forces were present at the place. Many emergency personnel were wearing special protective clothing.


Robert Koch Institute staff were also on site as consultants due to biological and chemical hazards for emergency workers. Several employees of the German Federal Criminal Police Office have also been stationed at the site.


A special unit in the fire department has been created to deal with the possible contamination in Recklighausen and the items discovered in the blue barrels have been transferred to the fire department.


According to German media reports, the Federal Criminal Police Department has been monitoring this Iranian for several days.
