Activist Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee arrested again
Iranian regime arrested activist Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee in his home on Saturday. Ten security agents took part in the strike and carried her away, according to information from Iran.



She is the wife of cancer-ridden prisoner of conscience, Arash Sadeghi, and campaigned on Twitter and social media for his release.
Iraee himself is a former political prisoner. In 2016, she was sentenced to six years in prison for writing a critical story about [the regime's use of] stoning [as punishment].
The regime released Iraee to the bail in April 2019 after serving 3.5 years of her six-year prison sentence.
Last July, one of the regime's revolutionary courts in Tehran sentenced her and another female activist Atena Daemitill to three years in prison. The female activists were accused of "insulting the supreme leader and propaganda against the state".

The Revolutionary Court raised new charges against the activists on June 18, 2019 after protesting against the execution of three Kurdish activists from prison.
The Iraqi lawyer announced on September 5 that the regime's so-called judiciary upheld the verdict without reviewing her appeal.
Her husband, the prisoner of conscience Arash Sadeghi, has been in custody in the regime's prison since 2016. He is serving a 15-year prison sentence for his peaceful activities and defense of human rights in Iran.
The regime refuses him necessary care despite being in poor health following a cancer operation last year.
Arash Sadeghi hunger strike for 72 days at the end of 2016 and demanded that the regime release his wife. On January 3, 2017, the regime released Iraee against a $ 125,000 bail (approximately $ 1.15 million). This since Arash's campaign received great support in Iran and internationally.
The Revolutionary Guard seized her again a few weeks later.
