Turkish soldiers shot dead man from Rojava at border

Turkish soldiers opened fire on a civilian trying to cross the border in the province of Kilis yesterday.

Mustafa Husin who attempted to cross the Rojava border into Kilis on Monday evening died soon after sustaining a serious injury on the stomach and arm as a result of fire opened by soldiers deployed at Süngütepe Division Command.

The body of the man who reportedly lived in the village of Merseva in the Efrin Canton of Rojava has reportedly been taken to Efrin by his relatives.
