Iran, Russia and Turkey will meet next week in Kazakhstan's capital, Astana, for further talks on Syria, according to AFP, Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister.

"The participants plan to discuss the current situation in Syria, especially in Idlib," said Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov in a statement.



According to the Foreign Minister, representatives of the Syrian Government and the opposition will participate, but Abdrakhmanov did not want to specify who will attend Iran, Russia and Turkey.

The meeting in Astana will be the eleventh in the order of the so-called Astana process, formally commenced in Kazakhstan's capital city 2015.

Recently, leaders of Turkey, Russia, France and Germany in Istanbul met with a view to reaching a political solution to the seven-year civil war. The meeting was about to get permanent peace in the rebellious Idlib province.
