The Iranian regime executed two for economic crime

The Iranian regime executed two people charged with financial crime.



The two, Vahid Mazloumi and Mohammed Isamil Ghasemi, were convicted of "spreading corruption on earth, a crime punished by death penalty under the strict laws of the Iranian regime.



The executives were accused of manipulation of the foreign exchange market and illegally seized two tons of gold coins, reports Iranian media.



At least twelve other accused people are waiting for the same crime, according to the President of the Iranian judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ezhe'i.



35 other people have been sentenced to three to 20 years in prison for involvement in the crime.
