The UN condemns the secret execution of Kurdish political prisoners by Iranian terror regime

The UN condemns the secret execution of Kurdish political prisoner Hedayat Abdollahpour on Friday.
"We condemn the execution of Hedayat Abdollahpour in the strongest terms," the UN MR experts said in a statement on Friday, adding.
“Any death penalty that is executed in violation of a state's obligations under international law is equivalent to arbitrary execution and thus illegal. The fact that the execution was carried out in secret after an enforced disappearance is an extra aggravating factor. "
rattvisan reallit noticed and condemned this secret execution on June 11.
Hedayat Abdollahpour was imprisoned in the regime's death cell in Uromiyeh's central prison, in northwestern Iran, since he was sentenced to death for "war on God" in February 2017. He was taken to an unknown location on May 9, 2020 before the execution.
The regime's authorities did not hand over his body to the family but buried him in an unknown location. Abdollahpour's father was first informed on June 10 by Uromiyeh's local court system that his son had been executed 20 days ago. This since his family had been looking for him at the local prosecutor's office and the city's central prison.
Abdollahpour was arrested along with dozens of others on June 15, 2016 after a clash between Iran's Kurdish Democratic Party and the Revolutionary Guard outside his city, Qarah Soqol.
