Omid Vashkalani was pressuring Kurdish youth in the cities of Kurdistan, forcing them to use drugs, and anyone who disobeyed was arrested and sent to prison in Kurdistan.

According to the YRK, their forces in Marivan city punished a contractor named Omid Washkalani who helped the invaders in every way and was involved in the distribution of drugs and prostitution in the area.

 

The Media and Press Center of the East Kurdistan Defense Units (YRK) announced in a written statement that their forces have punished Omid Washkalani.

The statement of the unit is as follows:

“On May 22, 2026, a contractor named Omid Washkalani was punished in Tosorani village of Marivan. This action was carried out by my regional autonomous forces. Some other forces wanted to take responsibility for this action.

This contractor, Omid Washkalani, supported the Iranian occupier in every way. He spread prostitution and drugs in the area. It violated the patriotic values ​​of our people in every way. In the digital media, there are many pictures and scenes of Omid Washkalani showing his utmost support for the occupying regime of Iran. With the support he received from the occupying regime, he always made various threats to our people.

We had warned in our previous statement that anyone who helps the occupying regime and is involved in the blood of our comrades and people will be targeted by our forces.”
