Germany: It is because of these repressions in the Iranian regime that the Iranian government should not acquire nuclear weapons.

On the eve of the meeting of the United Nations Atomic Energy Agency's Board of Governors, German Foreign Minister Analena Baerbock said that "because of all the brutality we see from the Tehran regime and its inhumane violence against its citizens", we should never allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. reach

While supporting the right of Iranian protesters to demand their citizenship rights, Germany has strongly condemned the way they were treated.

The German foreign minister was one of the first foreign officials who called for sanctions against the Iranian government for suppressing the protesters.

Three days ago, Olaf Schultz, the Chancellor of Germany, also strongly criticized the Islamic Republic of Iran for suppressing protesting citizens and said: "We are horrified by the images of cities like Tehran, Sanandaj, Isfahan and Shiraz." We are witnessing the struggle of Iranians for freedom and justice. We see the government of a member of the United Nations shooting at its own citizens. This is completely unacceptable.

On Tuesday, following a meeting with Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ms. Baerbok stressed in a joint press conference with the Kurds that Tehran should never be able to acquire nuclear weapons. He demanded that Iran comply with its legal obligations towards the United Nations Atomic Energy Agency and said that the inspectors of this agency should be able to have a full presence in Iran's nuclear facilities.

Ms. Baerbok added, "Iran has been systematically violating almost all its commitments to the JCPOA for years, and it no longer fully fulfills its commitments to the United Nations Atomic Energy Agency, precisely because of all the violence that the Tehran regime and its inhumane violence against citizens have caused." We see this country against women, men and children, exactly for this reason we should never allow Iran to produce or acquire nuclear weapons. This is why Iran's current nuclear program must again be securely limited and fully monitored through legal action and other agreements."

Of course, the German foreign minister emphasized that part of the reality is that there is no negotiation with Tehran at the moment.

The Board of Governors of the United Nations Atomic Energy Agency is scheduled to hold a meeting on Wednesday to review and analyze the situation in Iran this week.

Referring to the fact that Germany is at the center of the JCPOA revival process, Mr. Grossi said that he knows that the German Foreign Minister is involved in this important process, which has not yielded any results so far, and added that Iran still needs to explain about the discovery of uranium traces found in some places. and answer the questions of the world community.

Earlier, the Reuters news agency announced that the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany have submitted a new draft resolution to the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, calling for increased pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran, so that the Council asks Tehran to clean up three sites contaminated with Uranium should cooperate with the inspectors of the agency.

The Council of Governors, which consists of 35 member states of the Agency and is considered the board of directors of this institution, will hold a meeting in Vienna this week, during which it will review the Director General's report on Iran.

At the same time, Rob Mali, the envoy of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Iran affairs, is in Paris to meet with French, German and British officials.

Mr. Mali said on Monday that what is in the focus of America's attention today is not the nuclear deal but the suppression of protesters in Iran and the sale of drones to Russia.

According to Reuters, he told reporters in Paris that America is leaving the way for diplomacy, but for now it is focused on sanctions and pressure.

"If there is no negotiation going on, it is because of Iran's positions and everything that has happened since then (in September)," he said.

He added that America's focus is not on the nuclear agreement "but on the events inside Iran... this widespread movement and repression that the regime uses against the protesters." "Our focus is also on the sale of drones from Iran to Russia... and the release of the hostages."
