With the continuation of the popular uprising in Rozhelat, Kurdistan and Iran, the wave of arrests of citizens, students, civil and political activists and other protesters by the security forces and with false and baseless accusations has increased.
According to reports published on November 24, Saba Abdulahi, a women's rights activist and the former editor of Bidad magazine, who lives in Arak, was arrested at her home on the night of her birthday by a prosecutor's order, and there is no information about her whereabouts and current condition.
Also, Asma Ganjinzadeh, a philosophy undergraduate student at Isfahan University, was arrested along with a number of other students during a conflict inside the university, and there is no news about her.
Fatemeh Naser Ranjbar, a material engineering student of Sharif University, was also arrested by the security forces in the last few days and transferred to Evin prison.
The reports indicate that the 36th branch of the appeal confirmed the verdict issued for Raha (Zahra) Timuri, a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology of Tehran University, who was sentenced to one year of imprisonment and 74 lashes on the charge of "disturbing public order". Zahra Timuri was arrested on October 3 this year and her sentence cannot be challenged again.
