The risk of executing Reza Rasai's death sentence is serious

A source close to the family of Reza Rasaei, a political prisoner sentenced to death, told "Dadban" that "the risk of executing this prisoner's death sentence has greatly increased in the coming days."

According to this informed source, "Article 477 objection has been registered for several months, but no answer is given to the family and lawyers. The confirmed death sentence was previously sent by the second branch of the criminal court of Kermanshah province to execute the judgments of the Kermanshah judiciary, and the related administrative work has also been done.

As this informed source said, "The victim's family has emphasized that they are not looking for revenge and it is not at all clear to them that the murderer is Reza Rasaei." However, they say that it is not our hand and our consent is of no use, talk to the Corps.

On September 23, 34-year-old Reza Rasaei was sentenced to self-retribution by the second branch of the criminal court of Kermanshah province on the charge of intentional murder. This sentence was later confirmed by the 17th branch of the Supreme Court in the last days of December.

In the verdict issued by the court, (Gholam) Reza Rasaei has been accused of murdering Nader Bairami, the head of the intelligence department of Sahne city in Kermanshah province.

Nader Bairami was killed on November 27, 1401, during a protest rally for Women, Life, Freedom in Sahne city, and as a result of this rally being turned violent due to the attack of the security and police forces on the protestors, during a conflict between citizens and officers.

Confirmation of this judgment in the Supreme Court of the country, while the writ issued by the lower court has many formal and substantive defects. In a detailed report, Dodban had discussed the contradictions and flaws in the indictment against Reza Rasaei.
