everal Hundreds of Iranian people converged at the United Nations at United Nation plaza to Call on at UN Security Council members meeting, for the Rights of Iranian people, and voice out, FREE IRAN, is the demand, and Rights of the Nation of Iran.
It is imperative that the Security Council address the flagrant violations of human rights especially the torture and massacre of political prisoners in Iran,
Also, denounce the presence of the Iranian regime’s president, Hassan Rouhani at the UN, emphasizing that Iran’s seat at the world body does not belong to the present regime of Iran which rules it, but to the Iranian people and Resistance.
No less than 3,590 people, including dozens of dissidents, have been executed during Rouhani’s term and thousands more arrested since the uprisings rocked 142 Iranian cities last December.
The Iranian Resistance stresses human rights in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and in accordance with conventions adopted by the United Nations. Its plan includes the separation of religion and state and the abolition of the death penalty.
The Iranian people and the Resistance seeks a new constitution based on freedom, democracy and equality. Velayat-e Faqih constitution will be abolished. The mullahs' sharia edicts, the legal backbone of the punitive laws, will have no place in tomorrow's Free Iran.
Active and equal participation of women in the political leadership and all aspects of life in a free society is the will of Iranian people and Resistance.
Democracy in tomorrow's Iran will be founded on the participation of its various ethnicities.
A new economic and social order based on freedom which includes eradication of poverty, expansion of social justice, and growth of the economic power of citizens, will be established.
