Parvin Mohammadi went to court

Parvin Mohammadi Naeb, the chairman of the board of directors of the Free Trade Union of Iran, was tried in the first branch of the Karaj Revolutionary Court yesterday.

During the court hearing to investigate the complaint against Parvin Mohammadi on charges of propaganda against the regime, Parvin Mohammadi's lawyer, Mohammad Ali Jadari Foroughi, presented defense counsel with the charges against him.

Parvin Mohammadi was arrested on May 6, along with other workers, at the Jahan Naaf Park in Karaj and was released on bail after 15 days of detention.

Arresting and prosecuting workers for unions is a manifestation of an outright violation of workers' human rights, and calls for an end to the prosecution of workers demanding the release of all imprisoned workers.
