David Liga, MEP from Sweden: I stand with the Iranian people in their thirst for water, prosperity and freedom

  David Liga, MEP from Sweden and member of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, wrote in a Twitter message on 3 August: "The Iranian people need water!" Excessive use of force, shooting at people and arresting them by the Iranian regime will certainly not end the chronic water shortage.

I stand with the Iranian people in their thirst for water, prosperity and freedom.
