Afghan television has revealed the Islamic Republic's financial and military support for the Taliban terrorist group.

"The Islamic Republic pays the Taliban terrorist group light and heavy weapons and a monthly salary," Afghan TV quoted a commander of the Taliban terrorist group on the Iranian-Afghan border as saying, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Afghanistan Ministry of Intelligence directly supports the Taliban and pays $ 600 a month to each member of the Taliban terrorist group, Afghanistan TV reported.

According to the report, the commander of the Taliban terrorist group, who is currently in custody, said: "The Islamic Republic has built several military training centers in Tehran, Mashhad, Kerman and Zahedan to train members of this terrorist group."

Afghan government officials and leaders of the Taliban terrorist group have confirmed that the Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran is providing them with military and financial assistance to advance the Taliban in Afghanistan.
