Summoning two labor activists to the Rasht court

Two labor activists living in the city of Rasht have been summoned to the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of this city after receiving a notification.


, Saeed Rezaei and Ehsan Rezaei, based on the notification received on Wednesday, January 6, must appear in the branch within 5 days to present their final defenses for the assigned charges.


According to the Free Trade Union, the two citizens, who are related to each other as brothers, have been charged with "propaganda against the regime", "spreading lies" and "insulting Ali Khamenei".


The labor activists were arrested by the Rasht Intelligence Service on Tuesday, October 18, at their private home, and were released from the detention center hours later.


Saeed Rezaei was arrested earlier on May 1, 1998, at the same time as International Workers' Day, during a protest rally in front of the parliament, and was released on bail five days later.
