The Islamic Republic announced the cause of Atefe's death as suicide, a claim that her family denied and said that Atefe died under torture, then the government agents took her lifeless body to her house and claimed that she had committed suicide by turning on the gas valve. Atefeh will remain as a hero in the hearts of his people forever.
