French President Concerned over Turkish Attack on Afrin

French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday expressed concern over Turkey’s military attack on the Syrian Kurdish province of Afrin.

“Taking into account Turkey’s security imperatives, the president expressed to his Turkish counterpart his concerns following the military intervention launched on Saturday in Afrin,” Macron’s office said in a statement.

The statement was released following a phone conversation between the two leaders
