Three European countries have accused Iran of developing missile technology and ignoring a UN resolution limiting its rocket operations.

In a letter to the United Nations, Britain, France and Germany accuse Iran of developing missile technology, which is considered contrary to the UN Security Resolution and calls for a full UN report. It reports AFP on Tuesday.

The claim comes one day after the US announcement that it is considering further sanctions against Iran.

UN Security Council Resolution 2231 - which was adopted shortly after the 2015 nuclear power agreement - calls on Iran not to carry out any activities related to ballistic missiles intended to deliver nuclear weapons. "

The three countries are asking Guterres to "report fully and thoroughly on the Iranian ballistic missile activity" in its next report, which is expected in June.

On February 7, the Iranian regime's Revolutionary Guard revealed that it has developed a ballistic missile, Dezful, which they claimed to have a range of 1,000 kilometers.

President Donald Trump drew the US out of the Nuclear Engineering Agreement last May and resumed sanctions against Iran and expressed concern about missile development.
