I spoke twice with the Persian-speaking BBC about the meeting and discussion between the four Kurdish parties and the Islamic Republic. It's almost now 30 years since Dr. Abdul Rahman Ghassemlou and two of his colleagues were murdered in 1989 by the Iranian regime in Vienna-Austria.
The murders took place during negotiations on the rights of the Kurdish people and autonomy for eastern Kurdistan (Iran).
Dr Ghassemlou often visited Sweden, his favorite tavern was the Soldier Svejk at Medborgarplatsen, Stockholm - which remains today.
