Three protests in Iran in the last 24 hours.

The popular protests continue in Iran. Reports from Iran to the FFFI say there have been at least three protests in the last 24 hours.



Teachers in the city of Shadegan in the southwest province of Khuzestan gathered outside the governor's office and protested against hiring teachers on temporary contracts.

They demanded better employment protection and the teachers' temporary employment is transferred to permanent employment by the Ministry of Education.

Two other protests occurred in the city of Larestan in Fars Province and in the capital, Tehran.

Relatives of individuals killed in traffic accidents in Larestan protested against the city's substandard roads that have caused 16 fatalities over the past 40 days. The protest took place outside the government building and the governor's office in the city.

A group of employees at Tehran's subway protested against deteriorating terms of employment and demanded that the head of Tehran's subway resign. The protest took place outside Tehran's subway.
