Why is the UN not investigating that crime against humanity in Iran?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in response to the International Criminal Court's decision to launch an investigation into war crimes in the Palestinian territories that the tribunal should investigate brutal dictators such as Iran and Syria. The International Criminal Court (ICC) ruled on Friday that it would have jurisdiction over the situation in the Palestinian territories and would pave the way for an investigation into war crimes in the area.
