Khaled Pirzadeh on hunger strike in Greater Tehran Prison

Political prisoner #Khaled_Pirzadeh has been on a hunger strike since this morning, Monday, March 25, to protest the lack of medical care and the opposition of officials to his request for parole.

Mr. Pirzadeh underwent leg surgery in August this year. Her legs and spine were severely damaged during her detention and required further surgery and physiotherapy.

According to HRANA, while this prisoner had previously been included in the list of prisoners eligible for parole by the prison authorities, his written request was opposed by Mirza Aghaei, the director of the 9th prison in Greater Tehran.
