Aleppo's Kurds under siege

Al Qaeda-linked militia are killing Kurdish civilians in Tal Hasil and Tal Aran in Aleppo province, said local sources this morning.
The attacks begun some four days ago. The attacks have been carried out by military tanks, mortars and heavy machine guns. It is understood that over 50 people died and 350 have been taken as hostages.

According to AFP jihadist groups allegedly held at least 200 Syrian Kurds as hostages.
Al Nusra Front, an Al Qaeda-linked militia group, have previously been defeated in Kurdish region cities Derik, Rımelan, Girkê Legê, Çilaxa, Qamişlo, Serêkaniyê and Tal Abyad.
Local sources said that Tal Aran and Tal Hasil villages have been cut off from the rest of the world: phone lines are not working and there is no transport.
Hostages are mostly composed of families who flee from cities.
Meanwhile in Serêkaniyê there is shortage of doctors and medication.
Civan Mustafa, one of the four doctors serving at a field hospital, told ANF that there is lack of medication and they were admitting patients under extremely challenging conditions.
“We are transfering patients with severe condition to Qamişlo. We lack essential medication and we can’t preserve what we have in good condition either. Most of them are scattered on the ground. We can’t make surgical intervention here. We need all sorts of medication beginning from drugs to use in operations.”
Last night in Istanbul a demonstration was held to condemn the massacre in Rojava.
