No information about Ahmad Asgari’s health condition after two months.

There is no information about Ahmad Asgari and his condition with more than two months of being under arrest and the authorities do not provide any useful information to his family.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ahmad Asgari the journalist, student activist and student of international relations in political science faculty of Tehran university was arrested on June 20, 2013 in Fadak park in Tehran by security forces and for more than two months of being under arrest still there is no news about his condition and his family is concern about his health.

One of Ahmad’s relatives told HRANA “Ahmad is in the confinement cell in ward 209 of Evin prison but we have no idea how he is doing. Whenever Ahmad’s family asked to visit him or to have a phone call with him the authorities mocked them up. We concern that Ahmad’s medicines have not been delivered to him and being in critical health condition.”

It is worth mentioning Ahmad Asgari worked with Karoun and Mardom Salari newspapers and was arrested once more in 2009.

Abolfazl Abedini is in critical health condition

 Abolfazl Abedini who has started hunger strike since more than three weeks ago, is in critical health condition and faced a severe weight loss.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Abolfazl Abedini the journalist and human rights activist started hunger strike since July 27 in protest of transferring from ward No. 350 of Evin prison to Karoun prison of Ahwaz.

His Mother said to HRANA reporter that “I went to visit Abolfazl on August 15. He was so skinny and had a severe weight loss but despite of this condition he disagreed to break his hunger strike.”

She continuted and said “Despite of severe weight loss Ablofazl is sick and has flu. Abolfazl was so sad that we went to visit him that were waiting a lot in purpose by the prison officers in this hot weather.”

Abedini who was arrested in 2009 due to a scenario of intelligence and security departments against the members and colleagues in Human Rights Activists in Iran, has been deprived of having furlough till now.

This political prisoner was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment by Ahwaz revolutionary court and one more year imprisonment by judge Moghayyeseh in branch 28 of revolutionary court.
