HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Centre reported in a written statement that Iranian army shelled Kandil area in Medya Defense Zones.

HPG said that Iranian troops deployed at the guard posts at the border to Kandil carried out a bombardment with heavy artillery between 8 am and 6 pm on April 25. The bombardment targeted the areas of Dola Kokê, Hill Martyr Dilbirîn and Hill Martyr Ronahî.

According to the statement, unmanned aerial vehicles of the Iranian army performed reconnaissance flights over Hill Martyr Ronahî and Hill Casusan in Dola Kokê area between 20:30 – 21:30 yesterday evening.
